KNOW WHAT YOU’RE BUILDING

A clear picture before you start.

100% commission. No salary.

There is no guaranteed yearly income. Your earnings depend on the transactions you complete and your commission arrangement. Business expenses and taxes affect what you take home.

Income can be irregular, especially while you’re getting established. Prepare financially for periods without earnings. We can help you understand the costs and build a realistic starting budget.

Flexible doesn’t mean 9 to 5.

Clients often need you during evenings and weekends. Prospecting, appointments, paperwork, and follow-up all take time.

You’ll be building and managing your own business. That takes initiative, consistent effort, and boundaries that work for you and your clients.

Feeling hesitant about market headlines?

It’s understandable to have questions when you hear that real estate is challenging. Markets change, and headlines alone can’t tell you whether this career fits your goals.

Learn about the day-to-day work, consider your financial readiness, and understand the support available. Our leadership, mentorship, and training give you people to learn from as you build your skills and navigate changing conditions.

Ask your career questions ↗

This is a high-level introduction, not a complete licensing checklist. Confirm current education and licensing requirements with NLAR and the provincial regulator.
